Steps to create the dialup networking connection for Windows 95/98/98SE:
1. Look for the "My Computer" Icon on your desktop. Double left-click to open it. The "My Computer" window will open and you will see a new set of icons to choose from.
2. Double left-click on the "Dial-Up Networking" icon. The "Dial-Up Networking" window will open.
3. Double left-click on "Make New Connection".
4. First you will be asked to type a name for the computer you are dialing into. Type in TowerMicro.net. Click next.
**Note you may receive a screen at this point that asks which device you want to use. Select your modem and click the "OK" button. This screen only appears if you have never used your modem before.
5. Now we will enter the phone number. In the area code box, enter 570. In the Telephone number box, enter the number which is local for you to call: Click next.
6. You have successfully created a new dialup networking connection called TowerMicro.net. Click finish to save.
7. You will return to "Dial-Up Networking" automatically after clicking finish. Find your TowerMicro.net icon and right-click on it. From the menu that will appear, left-click "properties".

A new window titled "TowerMicro.net Properties" should have
appeared. Click on the "Server Types" tab. Uncheck the boxes
labeled "Log on to network", "NetBEUI", and "IPX/SPX
Compatible". Then click the "Ok" button.
9. You will return to "Dial-Up Networking" automatically after clicking ok. Again find your TowerMicro.net icon and right-click on it. From the menu that will appear, left-click "create shortcut". This will place a shortcut to TowerMicro.net on your desktop.
When you are ready to connect, double-left click the "Shortcut to TowerMicro.net" icon on your desktop. Insert your username and password and click connect.

Outlook Express (if you do not wish to use webmail): Type http://support.towermicro.net in the address bar of your web browser. Scroll down the page to the "Configuration Help" section. Click the link for TowerMicro.net Email Setup (Outlook Express) Follow these instructions to setup Outlook Express for use with TowerMicro.net.
